Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the DataDesk AU website at datadesk.com.au (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

The Site is operated by DataDesk AU, an Australian data and digital services consultancy based in Melbourne, Victoria (“DataDesk”, “we”, “us”).

ABN: 46 885 719 313
Email: enquiries@datadesk.com.au

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

  • use it in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, or introduce malicious code; or
  • copy, scrape, or reproduce Site content except as permitted in clause 3.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, branding, guides and design — is owned by or licensed to DataDesk and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal or internal business use, but you must not republish, sell, or commercially exploit it without our written permission.

4. Information Is General Only

The content on this Site — including any guides, articles, tools and examples — is provided for general information only. It does not take account of your particular circumstances and is not professional, financial, legal or technical advice. You should obtain advice specific to your situation before acting on anything you read here.

While we take care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free.

5. Our Services Are Separate

The Site describes services DataDesk may provide. Browsing the Site, submitting an enquiry, or receiving a quote does not create a contract for services. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, which sets out the scope, fees and terms of that work.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We provide these for convenience only and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, DataDesk is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, or from reliance on any content on it. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant content or service (or paying the cost of doing so).

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be available at datadesk.com.au/terms. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. Questions about these terms can be sent to enquiries@datadesk.com.au.
